Welcome to "Tex's room". Those who'd say "What is TeX?" or "What is macro?" ,please click here.

Those who've seen a sample dvi file and feel like downloading the macro source file, please click here. However,it's not an independent software, so LaTeX2e and a dvi driver which can read tpic special commands are necessary. After downloading, place it in a folder which TeX can recognize and use it in a way such as \usepackage{eepic,mathtips}. As you see ,eepic style file is a must. Eepic can be downloaded from here. In addition,if you finish installing the macro source file, and if you have an adequate dvi driver , you'll be able to see all the samples with sample.tex .

Let me explain how I make up these macros a little bit. I first knew TeX in Jun in 1997, and that was my first time to get a computer. I got really crazy about both, especially TeX' macros. I was making macro commands everyday from day to night, without making papers or handouts. It lasted for about several months and I made almost all the macro commands on this page in these days. After the fever had gone, I had not been making any macro. However, when I tried to set up my homepage this time, I became crazy again and even made up additional macro i.e. Table with slashed boxes. It took me more than one month only to finish it. I'm exhausted and fed up with TeX's macros NOW. Personally speaking, I prefer TeX's macro to Java. Because, TeX's macro is useful for my daily work and doesn't require lots of commands as Java does. Finally, my favorites are "Table with slashed boxes", "Division by writing"and "Trigonometric functions",although I don't use Trigonometric macro after I began to use "WinTpic" . ( It is a software for Windows which enables us to place tpic special commands with GUI.)

You can distribute or modify the macro in any way you like. However, if you change any of the macro, don't distribute it. Please report any bugs and , if any , enhancements too.

I guess this macro is very unique except "the two big flamed boxes". Because, these macros are very specialized for high school math in Japan. Therefore, I'm afraid they are useless to others except Japanese math teachers. However, they're so specialized that you may appreciate the uniqueness of this macro, with a exotic flavor. Thus, I hope you enjoy this macro and be prepared to get surprised by how much TeX can do.
